Wentworth and Schouten take the wins at Halloween Cross
Riders were treated to a windy day at Washington Park for Halloween Cross. That didn't stop people from showing up in every type of costume to tackle a course that included just a bit of mud after a rainy week. In the elite women's race a devilish Kristin Wentworth (Planet Bike) took the win. For much of the race Kaitie Antonneau (Planet Bike) was in second but late race dereailleur issues forced her to run to the pits opening the door for Samantha Schneider (Team Type 1) who was just behind her to claim second with Holly Klug (Courage) to take third. In the men's race Tristan Schouten (Planet Bike) soloed in for the win with James LaLonde (Planet Bike) in second and Kevin Klug (Courage) in third.
