Lapham Peak Kicks Off WCA Cross Season

Sunny skies and warm temperatures greeted cyclocross racers for the start of the Wisconsin Cycling Association series.  Saturday's events included a hill climb and a time trial to challenge racers.  Sunday's race featured a typical cyclocross race on the classic Lapham Peak course.  On Sunday the elite women's race was won by last year's series champion Kristen Wentworth (Team Kenda Tire).  Brian Matter (PCW) held off a hard charging field to take the elite men's win.  Look for full results on the WCA webpage.
