Wisconsin CX Championship race a roaring success A huge turnout of racers and fans ensured that the Wisconsin Cyclocross Championship race at Angell Park Speedway was a roaring success. Cyclocross racers were treated to a technically demanding course and fans were treated to fast and furious racing. Photos and Video: Janesville Cyclocross race debuts in classic cross style The Janesville Velo Club debuted their cross race at Gibbs Lake Park in true cyclocross style. Racers were treated to a cold, snowy day and with the sun shining conditions quickly turned to mud. Even without snow and mud this course would have challenged riders with twists and turns, a long extended climb on the back section of the park, and a small run along side the lake.
